XX Yesterday, Cristina
spotted another distressed stray dog, a lovely white poodle in heat, being
chased by a pack of aggressive males.
Cristina ran for miles trying to coax the dog into her arms and I even
tried to help corner it with Toxic. Finally a young man from the neighbourhood did
manage to grab it and you could see the look of relief from the poor girl. She ate rapidly and slept for hours. You can tell that she is a house dog by the
way she is respectful and is comfortable anywhere.
I named her Princesa and we gave her a bath today. She is so sweet and lovable, and quiet! Quiet is a great feature for me… So we have our regular two dogs, Turi and Mariposa,..
plus the 2 rescue dogs, Sparky and Princesa.
Trying to handle 4 dogs at once is not in my purview of fun, not in my
small house.. We are advertising on
Facebook rescue sites to try to find the owners as soon as possible. However, please hold up your hand if you would like
to adopt either, or both, of the two rescues.
These two will love you to bits, guaranteed.
Sorry to repeat the photos of Sparky, but that playful little pup really needs a good home with someone who has time to devote to him.
The latest Coopera payout began yesterday and I had sent out the
El Tiempo story about what was needed to get our money. I have had several reports from people who
had absolutely no problem getting it done.
Hooray!!!
Tonight is the tenth edition of the Oldies But Goodies dance. We have 66 people signed up so it should be a good time. We have so many lovely single ladies attending, it is really too bad that a lot of the single guys do not know what they are missing!!!!
