This darn weather is a pain in the a**, rain every hour so you don't want to go outside and enjoy life. Walking the dogs every 3 hours (including 3am and 6am) doesn't count. Turi was having tummy troubles, maybe richer people food should be avoided, so she would be asking to go out every 3 hours.... Well, at least she is asking, instead of pooping in the house...
Sunday I had wanted to go for a long ride on the highway north of Paute but the weather was even worse than the weather predictions. Toxic is certainly gathering dust in the garage.
Today the rain took a breather in the afternoon so we went to El Vergel to meet Dr Duane's girlfriend Liliam (not a misprint) at her Aroma cafe, north of the back of the courthouse. And Dr Duane was there too, so we had a nice visit with the two of them and enjoyed some of the very delicious food that she had to offer.
We took the #15 and got off around Gran Aki to go check out the nearby seamstress shops. One of them said that they could accommodate both my and Cristina's needs so we will check that out further tomorrow.
Then we saw a new video store a couple of doors down, with better prices so we went in and I browsed the action movies and Cristina checked out the horror films. They had a much different selection from the normal and the proprietress turned out to be a Colombiana. I haven't bought a whole lot of movies in a while so we came away with 29 movies for $23. That should keep us quiet during this rainy season...
