Sorry, again we have uncooperative rainy weather and too many “cosas” to worry about, so the camera has been silent and invisible.
It is gratifying to have my sisters using my artwork in some of their projects, plus getting compliments worldwide on my Blogs.  However it seems that many, if not all, of my subscribers to this Blog are not receiving it like they should and I don’t seem to have any way to repair this.  Writing to Google isn’t much use.  For this reason, I am ever so appreciative of the awesome group of people who still view my Blog faithfully.  THANK YOU to you all.
I was all excited, planning to go deep-sea fishing and whale-watching at Puerto Lopez July 1-2, because the trip was being offered for $100!  Naturally it turned out to be too good to be true, because the real cost ended up being $190 when they included transportation…  Too rich for this poor dude!
Also will be volunteering Weds (loading and transporting) and Thurs for the ArtWalk at San Sebas, probably roaming selling drink tickets and taking photos.  Yes, I can chew gum and walk at the same time…
Sunday we put out the call for a new Oldies But Goodies dance on June 28.  Many regulars are sadly out of town, but response has been great initially.  A lot of people miss these dances.  Because of their constant reminders of this, we decided to try again.  To reduce complaints about too much this or that music, we are returning to the roots, strictly Oldies RnR, no DJ, and reduced prices again.  It is again apparent that we really need a LOT of guys to come, to compensate for the overload of lovely ladies that will be in attendance.  It is a good thing that most women just get up and dance by themselves, or in a group.  Nobody cares, we are all there just to have fun!
I am still putting together information for my end-of-life attorney so we can finish off the documentation soon.  I am getting the contact info for the 2 local doctors that ride with me on the Thursday night Herederos rides.  They have agreed to be the first-call doctors should something happen to me.  That will make things so much easier too for the lengthy processes in case of incapacitation or death.  Ecuador’s rules and laws are way different than Canada or the USA so it could be a nightmare for family if no legal wills and permissions are in place.
Went grocery shopping at SuperMaxi instead of Coral and ended up having to use my credit card instead of cash because the bill outweighed my wallet.  The impulse buying of neat things available there make the “factura” swell.  However I have some bacon-wrapped filet mignon in the fridge now, and I am drooling over that.
I will have to check again, but it appeared that Coral was eliminating pricing on their shelves so a shopper can’t even compare two similar items or see if they are sneakily raising prices by this tactic.  They have about 4 pricing machines in the store but we are not going to run with armloads of items to check prices….  It also doesn’t help when you have produce, etc.   If that is going to be their standard practice, we will shop elsewhere.
Again sorry there are no photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al
