I guess I am nervous because I keep checking the music, the connections and the machines to make sure that I have a good handle on how to make it all work. And, it works, so I can breathe again.
Tonight Joe and Joseph crammed in 120 guests for their famous Southern Fried Chicken at Joe's Secret Garden. The lovely Jordan graced us with her youth and beauty again and I got permission from her Grandpa Stan that she could be my future girlfriend... with her 3 cats, after she dumps her existing boyfriend who hasn't received the approval yet. Oh well, it is all in good fun with a lot of good friends in attendance.
My good sister Yvette has booked my flights from Hamilton to Calgary, to Edmonton and back to Hamilton. I wish I had more days to spend with my 99-year-old Mother after her birthday but it is just not in the cards this trip. I will have to be sure to have more time when I visit her next year for her 100th Birthday.
Today is also a remembrance of the passing of my Dad in 1984. 31 years, but never forgotten.
