Inaugural Dance
Tuesday March 10, 2015 6 – 10pm
Location: Villa San Carlos, Remigio Tamariz 1-85
y Avenida Solano (See Map attached).
This is just west
of Solano, behind the Mormon Church, and down from the Gas Station.
Venue: Central
location, with lots of space, great dance floor, and lots of seating.
Parking: The
lot is supervised until 7pm. They
propose to charge $2 to park for the event.
Bus service: On
Solano, you have the 2, 5, 7, 12, 15, 16, 22, 24, and 26 that should pass by.
Donation: $3
per single, $5 per couple. PLEASE bring exact change.
Bar service: Beer
and wine and basic highballs at reasonable prices. Possible munchies available.
Dancing: All
styles welcome to the music provided.
Music: Recorded
mixed 50’s, 60’s, 70’s Oldies, Rock ‘n’ Roll, some Country, and some buckle
polishers
and other genres.
Imagine
yourself as a teenager at a local or country dance, and you know all the words
to every song. If you aren’t tapping your feet to the music
and singing along, we’ll order you a coffin.
Club: This
is a loose association of people who just want to have fun dancing, without complications. No
Fees or dues. We are just a private
party happening with a lot of fun folks……
Our
initial nights booked are Tuesdays, March 10 and 17th. If we get the response that we
expect,
then it will likely continue weekly or
bi-weekly.
Suggestions:
PLEASE
email us obgdance@gmail.com and tell us
if you are coming, (with names, male or
female,
etc.) so that we can inform the venue of the expected attendance.
Eat
first, then come on down between 6 and 6:30 before it gets dark.
Bring
exact change for entrance donation please.
Bring
along the phone number of your favorite taxi service.
Wear
your best dancing shoes and be prepared to boogie…..

it is.
