Yes, it is the second Blog of the day. Another long day of waiting, just like for our dogs, a Dog Day Afternoon in all respects....
I went out back for 90 minutes, and Tom Thumb again ignored us.
But I did get some cute shots, especially one of the Saffron Finch switching back to front, caught in mid-air...
The buzzards are circling on the thermals without a care in the world. Our good dogs are resting and some are getting some sun on this gorgeous, balmy 32C day. My stupid weather app keeps predicting rain and lower temperatures but it rarely is right. However, I sure could wish for rain all night tonight
We received the newest care package dog to babysit. Cristina does not know her name, but her attitude has me naming her Bitchy.
So, we are looking forward to the Canada and Oilers hockey games to pass the time before having to break off for the fireworks and calm our dogs most of the night. I doubt that banning fireworks in the town will stop anyone, it is such an engrained tradition. Rain does a good job of curtailing the racket. Crossing our fingers...
