Well I have yet to win anything with the Oilers 50-50 but there is another small Bonus draw Dec 31, so still a tiny, tiny chance...
Today I was invited to a Junior Edmonton Oil Kings game at Rogers Place, and today was the annual Teddy Bear Toss for Santa's Anonymous... I brought my spare Nikon D5600 with the manual 50mm lens so I was really hamstrung in my shooting, so the Jumbotron was a blessing...
Nobody thought they would sell out the 18,000+ arena for a Junior game against the Prince Albert Raiders, but they did! And the big hearts in Edmonton rained down teddy bears for the better part of an hour after Edmonton's first goal, all making their way to the ice surface where they collected thousands of stuffed animals, not just bears, and made a mountain under the end seats! Bravo Edmonton for your generosity once again!!!
BTW, we outshot P.A. but they actually outplayed us badly and won 4-3 after we left early to catch the LRT home. Thank you Lorraine for the lovely evening.
