We decided to go into Tulua when Cristina's sister was coming to pick up Sofia anyway, and niece Lina was also in the car. We went across town for a guaranteed good lunch of pork cutlets, rice and fries at Mr. Chuleta. It is always worth the detour.
Then we got dropped off downtown, and Cristina, like usual, has no idea about numerical sequence addresses, and always gets the street and avenues confused as well. We managed to find our friend Alex's electric bike store and we were amazed at the selection he had. After looking at several and comparing prices, we decided just to get the new updated model of the one we already have, but in red, with signal lights and a stronger battery, so more speed too....
Since we had sold the '98 Yamaha Chappy for a good price, we essentially bought the new eScooter for $70.... Now, we are just waiting for delivery, which is much later than promised....
It was nice to see Tulua showing no real ill effects from the floods of Christmas day. Driving in the city traffic is certainly not for the timid....
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
