Happy Boxing Day..
Any idea of going into Tulua to look at another electric scooter got scotched by the rain in the mountains and here overflowing the Cauca River, inundating the downtown. And there are flooding problems on the coast at Buenaventura as well.
Because of swollen rivers overrunning the water treatment plant here we awoke to no water until after noon. The big plus of the rains, other than cooling the temperatures, is that the fireworks are curtailed, saving our poor dogs from that racket. We do not look forward to New Year's Eve here, we pray for rain....
I went into the backyard with the D5600 and set up in a different location and I actually got some decent pics of Tom Thumb...
Today, will be non-stop hockey with the World Junior Championships and the Spengler Cup kicking off. So far, no complaints with the IPTV working here. We have decent fiber optic internet.
I heard some motor running over the wall in the open lot I might consider buying, so I took Turi and Princesa for a short walk to check it out. Thankfully, it was just some guys working a cement mixer to build their front sidewalk across the street.
