Last evening my walk took me toward the Legislative grounds where all the fountains were running with multi-coloured lights. I was glad that I had the D5600 with me..

This morning I waited for the Building Manager to come and view my dirty bedroom window which is promised to be cleaned today.

Then I took the Regal, picked up Bob and went to his TD Bank to make his new loan for his new Gio Tron scooter. Then I stopped by my bank to replenish my wallet as well.

From there, we went to Gateway Powersports to complete the purchase of Bob's new Tron. Bob is so happy with the comfort and the speed of his new machine. He stopped at McDonald's for lunch on the way back, and still arrived here a good 1/2 hour earlier than I expected.

I was having a nap when I got a surprise call from my friend Eleanore's daughter Deborah in Sangudo. The request was that they would send me money and I could grab a KFC dinner to satisfy Eleanore's craving at the U of A Hospital... While the money got botched up, it was immaterial, as I was happy to help.

The nearest KFC is right downtown, so I buzzed over there on my Gio and then crossed the High Level Bridge to the Hospital. Eleanore was nodding off so I let her eat at her leisure...

Now the Manager is trying to tell me the window cleaner says the seal in the window is broken and the dirt is between the panes.... I replied HOGWASH, you can see the swipe marks in the dirt, outside the glass..... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr He still does not believe me...!!! I will clean the darn thing myself with a ladder and send him a bill!

Yesterday I was awakened rudely by the garbage truck outside my window at 5:43am which is against the city noise bylaw for residential neighbourhoods. I have finally mentioned this to the building manager.

I did not do too much other than work on photos a bit, interspersed with a couple of walks....

Today was 34C which was apparently hotter than almost everywhere in the USA! The window washers seem to have washed my living room window and missed the bedroom window AGAIN, which has now been dirty for 3 years. The building manager will also look into that in the morning..

I dug out the Gio and ran to the Library to exchange Mark Greaney books. I am now on book 6 of 14..

Bob called me that his prospective buyer was counselled by her son to get a letter of satisfactory inspection and confirmation of the remaining warranty. Bob came here and we caught a taxi SUV that could take his scooter in the rear section. Our timing was fortuitous because somehow the seat of the Daymak had unbolted itself because it was only held by 2 bolts instead of 4.. So we got the repair done and the proper letter done by the dealer.

A customer insisted on using his pickup to take us back and refused to take any money, paying forward good deeds. There are still some good people in this world.

I made up a Bill of Sale for Bob and he later called me to say that the sale had been consummated...

Bob passed on Wednesday Wings but my friend Tony came with another friend/client of his named Roger. Because of the heat I even had 2 beer to go with my 20 wings. Anything to avoid cooking in this heat, even though my place is cool because I cool it down overnight between 10pm and 10am. I have not yet needed the AC unit.

Then I took a short detour to the River Valley for a couple of photos.

My buddy Keith called from Calgary, and I may see him next week if my trip South materializes as I hope.

After this Blog, I hope to sneak out for another short walk...
