Happy St Patrick's Day from the O'Bourassa apartment...

Thursday, I had the Gio in to Gateway Motorsports for the warranty check and to make sure everything was operating as it should....  I also had them repair that small crack in the one rear fender and the mechanic did a great job!  I took those photos with the Lumix.

Then I ran north to Staples to pick up a poster that I had made of a photo I took of Cristina before I left Colombia.  Then I needed to order the proper gizmos to hold it and hang it straight.

Friday was reasonably warm so I made a quick trip to Dollarama on the Gio and found 2 of 3 things I was after.  I got back in time for an Amazon delivery.

The maintenance man, Yves, came to change the washers in the kitchen tap and he did help me to retrieve my 2 bird feeders from the ledge a floor down.  I was thankful for that as I did not want to bother the neighbor below who apparently has polio.  The feeders are again outside my window.

The routine of bed at 11pm and up around 9am continues, although I almost have to force myself to rise every day....

Saturday I got busy and cut my hair short again.  I was tired of looking like a rubby every time I removed my toque!

Don came to watch curling with me and I checked out some more shopping that he wants to do.

I got tired of everything getting white in the apartment, especially anything glass, and I had to be so careful with Brutus that I emptied that new humidifier and put it in storage, probably to never be used again...

There was a second curling match at 4pm which I finished watching at Bob's place, because he insisted on feeding us meatloaf and potatoes for supper.  We did eat too much and the weigh scale suffered in the morning.

Then we watched the Oilers gas a game against the Avalanche with seconds remaining...  That was a good prelude to what we can expect shortly in the playoffs...

This morning Don came by to watch Canada win its 3rd game in a row at the Women's World Championship from Sydney, Nova Scotia.

That was over in time for Bob and I to jump on the Gios and head to Whyte Avenue to renew our Whyte Ave Photos gig  in the expected 16C sunshine, but it only got to 14C with a little annoying breeze.  But the patio was happily open at the Commercial Hotel for us to enjoy Leo Martinez and Braden Gates again, along with Edmonton-born Nashville hopeful Brooklyn Trapp, who goes by the name Brooklyn Blue (I wonder if she knows that she chose a pornstar's moniker!!)...    I took a video, but unfortunately it is too big for here, but it is on the Whyte Ave Photos Facebook page.   https://www.facebook.com/WhyteAvePhotos

It was a wonderful afternoon for music outside in the sun!  And I am getting more accustomed to Brutus each time I use him....

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
