Last night I did go on Toxic for another Thursday night ride.  This time we went west through San Joaquin and, via some bad backroads, ended up at the church in Banos.  I am only going to post a couple of pics from that trip.  We also ran into at least 3 other bike groups doing a night ride.

This morning I got an early call from Marco to be at Parque Calderon for an 8:30 news conference about Coopera.  Like usual, nothing happened for over an hour until Dr. Quito the lawyer arrived.
While waiting I took a few photos around the park, taking advantage of another beautiful morning of sunshine.
A new development was reported yesterday and that added a little excitement to the proceedings, especially when we came into possession of a photo showing the subject with the country’s President…

Son from a wealthy Ecuadorian family, implicated in money-laundering as an Officer of Coopera Credit Union, is caught during a routine traffic stop in the USA.  Until now he had been traveling back and forth between the two countries with impunity and bravado.  With the backing of powerful family friends, do you think that he will ever get extradited ??
It seems that Dr Quito has a new proposal to buy the bad debts of Coopera and to then collect them himself, but I understand that all the debtors will have to sign off on that proposal....
I hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al
