Monday November 11, 2013   LEST WE FORGET
Off we went today to see the exhibits at the Quinta Bolivar (the place where the Liberator, Simon Bolivar, stayed when he was in this area).  The exhibits usually change monthly and are always worth a visit.  It has free admittance.
Then we walked back east and meandered all the way around the lovely Parque Paraiso.  This park is always jammed with families on Sundays but is pretty quiet on a Monday.  On our trek back home we spotted some net fishermen who were being very successful.
Sorry the photos are badly out of order.
Hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al

Ancient eucalyptus trees, 100 feet tall for sure

Lovely walkway at the east end of the park

Loved the vines dropping from this tree.
