We always need to be up early Wednesdays and Saturdays to get the garbage to the curb for the garbageman who shows up anywhere from 7:30am to noon, and is preceded by scravengers/recyclers who ruin our bags looking for treasure... I hope a few of them get dog sh*t for being such nuisances.
Yes, we went on Amazon and have ordered a rear wheelchair for Tommy. Right now he is moving pretty good to get close to our Turi, who has been fixed long ago but inexplicably still goes into heat. Little NeNe is another little nuisance for poor Turi. Grande, Nino, Buddy and Dary are no real problem. Tommy will need to be fixed sometime soon too.
I was shocked to find both electric mopeds tipped over this morning...!! How the 3 cats managed that is a mystery to me....
Today, the men's curling got underway and our Brad Jacobs team won their first with a last rock hit in a surprisingly tough match against Germany.
We got a bronze medal in Ice Dancing (Figure Skating) and a couple of men's hockey games had some surprises. Our Canadian women curlers, Team Homan, play twice tomorrow I think, with the first game at 3:15am.. No way I am forcing myself to catch that one. They should win easily, we hope.
Our men's hockey team also plays tomorrow so I will definitely not miss that one...
I managed to finally catch photos of a very small yellow and black bird that shows up occasionally in the yard. He is very quick, and Google Lens says he is a Common Tody Flycatcher.... I think that is a new name to me..
Tom Thumb was cooperative and I like the photos of him grasping on the chain link fence with those tiny black claws...
Without hockey in the evenings, and the Olympics being done early because of the time difference, I am turning to watch some interesting movies that I have not seen before, ... usually leaning to the "action" ones
