I have been concerned about my dear Princesa since I got here. Her left eye was clouded over and bleeding and medication seems to be helping. But the last few days she has been listless and her stools have been really black compared to the other dogs, so Cristina called a vet for a home visit. Hopefully he will bring Princesa back to her lively self.
Actually the vet just called to say she is sick with tick fever and is anemic... I was right... She will be brought in to the vet tomorrow early morning for treatment.
Cristina brought in Lorena (Sofi's mother and niece Lina's former partner) to help with yardwork cleanup. She works hard and smart and can use the money. A lot of work was done, bagging a lot of garbage and leaves, trimming, etc. Then Cristina decided to fence off one patch of plants to keep Grande from rooting around in there. More walls....
I finally got a couple of shots of this huge bumblebee (according to Google lens). This guy is huge! And the geckos were active all over the walls.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
