Yesterday was more waiting, waiting, waiting.....
Last night at 8pm we were supposed to view the house next door and find out their asking price.... The place was dark and nobody answering the door. Somebody was there at 9pm but Cristina didn't want to get dressed up again... So we wait for something concrete....
Today we got two more of our Temu orders. They may take a while, and most things are smaller than they appear in photos, but the prices are reasonable and the parcels have always arrived. The quality is generally what we expect when 99% seems to emanate from China.
I have yet to put together the latest package, ... which is essentially a large covered baby carriage for transporting large dogs.... It was a bit of a frivilous purchase that will probably be used for other things at Cristina's whim.
The weather is constantly hot, 33C this week with at least a 50% chance of rain every day according to the inaccurate forecasters. They can predict heat but not rain......
Sofi is here to spend time with Cristina again. I hoped they would go to Tulua and pick me up a few things, but they just did a little shopping here.
There is some curling on TV, the Montana's Briar, which I have trouble getting excited about yet...
What does excite me is that my Oilers buried the LA Kings 8-1 Thursday night and looked very good in doing so, more passes to the right colour shirts.... They are on the west coast, right now against San Jose, so I have to rush this....
