Last night, a few Paso Fino horses went by again. I sure would like to be able attend another full Cabalgata parade before leaving.
I never thought that the Winter Olympics would be boring, but until our hockey teams and full curling teams get going, the time difference from Italy makes it tough to watch anything live. Our mixed doubles curling team is already out of contention, with poor, timid play.
I got bored in the afternoon and jumped on the older electric moped in spite of the darkening skies and went to try to catch some of the paragliders soaring near town.
I actually caught rain and hid under a service station awning for almost 30 minutes while the rain passed by. What I didn't realize was that there was no rain just one block further.....
So I caught a few paragliders with the lovely coastal cordillera of the Andes below them for a change of pace. One cloud looked a lot like an angel I thought, but it doesn't really show up in the picture.
We discussed the new paraplegic dog who is called Tommy, and he bravely wants to walk, but dragging his back feet raw in the process. We have discussed ways cover the back feet so they will slide easily for him. He seems to like it. I am pretty sure that Tommy will become our 13th dog to replace Princesa.
Then we went on Amazon and got him specialty diaper holders, plus I ordered another of the 6" chainsaws with 2 - 20V batteries. And, some idiot junkie stole the doorbell from the gate at the "Refugio", Adiela's refuge for strays, so I ordered another set too.
The last 2 nights I watched some Video-On-Demand movies I had favorited long ago, ones I have never seen for a change. But I watch 1/2 and leave the other 1/2 for the next day. Right now I am watching The Valachi Papers with Charles Bronson and his wife Jill Ireland, and Joseph Wiseman. So far, so good.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
