I am sleeping like a log but getting up with the winter sun around 8am, doing my chores,then crashing again. I have a lot of sleep to catch up on.
Temperatures are hovering near 0C but the wind off Lake Ontario makes it feel like -10C. Layers under my Ecuadorian alpaca hoodie are a must.
We play cards at every opportunity and I enjoy that, even winning the first 2 games against 2 pretty good players!
Then I crashed for a short time again before we went out. We stopped at the CIBC so I could get some Canadian currency in my wallet, then stopped at the Library to return a book for Yvette.
We did a little grocery shopping at No Frills on our way to JJ's On The Lake, where we make our annual pilgrimage for Haddock Fish'n'Chips. The wall paintings are always a hit with me as is the excellent food, along with our own wine.
Oops, gotta go play cards again. Hasta manana.
