Well, I got another call from the scammer again yesterday and he appeared unfazed by my comment that our last call was interrupted by the CIBC Fraud Department. I told him that he has the means to return my money at his disposal and he promised to investigate and advise.... I won't be holding my breath...
Last night, I joined Yvette and Lou at the clubhouse here to play Euchre, and, with a lot of patience from the others, I managed to be in the top half of the winning bunch. It was a learning experience with a lot of nice people.
We played more cards once we got home and we finished off the last of the lemon pie that my lovely sister had made. Life is good.
Now I will finish up my chores and get cleaned up and finish packing.
I am flying out of Hamilton on WestJet at 6pm. Somehow I had bought this "UltraBasic" seat which is ridiculous in its rules, not even allowing a carry-on. It is as if the airline wants to punish passengers who want a cheap flight. Thank God it is only a 4.5 hour flight!
