I have been really derelict in my duties it seems. I have hardly been going out at all and then I am too lazy to take photos because my brain is frozen.... I think this is the longest time between Blogs I have ever expended.
Last Thursday, I finished the final Vince Flynn book, Capture Or Kill, which wasn't even written by him. It was good, but I feel cheated when obscure authors trade on the good name of best-selling authors.
Thursday and Friday, and again this Wednesday, I was bothered repeatedly by the scammers at BitProGain. They have absolutely no shame these characters from England. To be on the safe side, I have again changed debit card at the bank.
Saturday, Cristina notified me that she had caught our big shadow-chasing dog, Rio, with a female Saffron Finch in her mouth. Maybe the dog is getting smarter finally, but the birds must still be quicker to get away from her.
I worked on my Pase Del Nino pics some more then watched portions of several hockey games while finishing Ken Follett's latest and last book, Never.... I guess I will have to concentrate on his books for a while.
I continue to make my apartment almost a sauna by boiling water on the stove. The windows steam up and my hair and nose just love the moisture.
Sunday, I worked again on the photos and finally finished them up on Tuesday. It will be a good year or more before they get posted.
Monday, I called Bob because I was going to go out in the nice weather and we did a little shopping and wandered on our horribly potholed roads under construction to the west end, just to drive a little. We stopped at a KFC for their Oiler game day $4 chickenburger.
Wednesday was more BitProGain Scam BS and I refused to do anything they asked. Then I binge watched all the last 7 episodes of Yellowstone. Love that show! I wish that I could get Outlander as easy...
Today, my second Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa) arrived for the living room. I get spoiled that I can ask for the weather forecast, hockey schedule or to play different music at a whim, without having to be in my office area of the bedroom.
I dressed up just to go outside to plug in the car because colder weather is coming for the weekend. I may have to see my doctor soon because my left arm is not getting any better and it hurts like heck just to shampoo my hair or to pull on my toque. It also restricts some of my exercises.
There are tentative plans for Sunday to go visiting out of town, but I might cancel out if the temperatures get down as far as expected. There is no sense taking needless chances at this age.
The Oilers play my old favourite team, the Detroit Red Wings tonight. Looking forward to a good game, and Don may come to watch...
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
