Monday, right after I washed my car, we had a piddly rain, of course. It never fails! I am the Rainmaker!
Then I jumped in the Regal to go to Staples and London Drugs to find a back rest for Bob and I noticed my "Check Engine" light was on, and staying on...
So, I came from there directly to Central Tire and left the Regal overnight for them to check it out. They said it would be a day or two, but I didn't need it for anything anyway...
I spent a good part of the day working on photo uploads from last year to replenish my supply of artworks to later upload daily to FAA/Pixels.
Then, I watched pieces of 3 NHL games while reading 1/2 of the next Lee Child/Jack Reacher novel.
Today, I got a call after noon that my Regal was ready... No more information, but I knew that meant good news and no major problems... It turns out that my gas cap was loose and that tripped the "Check Engine" sensor!
So I picked up the Regal and continued to Bob's place with a can of green beans that he wanted, and also with an extra ergonomic seat cushion to use on his scooter. I have 4 cushions like that, so letting him have one was no big deal to me.
Then, being Tuesday, I remembered that Vinnie's Treasure Shoppe was open, so I went to browse. They have so much great furniture but, if I bought something, then something else has to go... This is my situation in life now.... I have everything I really need to be comfortable, so I am really reluctant to move and start over once more. But I did find an umbrella and a coat rack that I could use.. Total was $10...
I brought those home, parked the Regal, and jumped on the Gio to head to the Library to exchange books, one Lee Child for 2 more Ken Follett... It was 12C but I was dressed for the weather. That is where the hoodies prove their worth... And I passed by a Canada Goose on the way, 5 feet away.
Four more hockey games tonight....
Sorry, no pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
