Happy Easter again...
My day started watching Canada lose 4-3 in overtime to the stronger USA team at the Women's World Hockey Championship. Canada played without their best sniper Natalie Spooner, and Sarah Fillier tried her best to carry the team, but the American team was too tough.
Then I checked and saw that my guy, Charles LeClerc of Monaco made the podium in 3rd place at the Saudi Grand Prix. I am happy for him.
After chores, Bob called me but he is haviung spring allergy problems so he didn't want to go outside. So I jumped on the Gio and headed downtown alone to see if there were any activities around the Legislature or downtown.. and I was disappointed. So, I decided to take a few pictures of our iconic buildings and ended up east on 95 St..
I saw that the Hughes Car Wash there had 3 wash bays and only one was being used, and obviously no line-up, so I made my way home to get the Regal. I came back and there still were 2 bays open so I got 10 tokens and did a soap cycle, 2 soap brush, a rinse and 2 waxes. So I still have tokens for another emergency wash sometime. The tokens also work for the shopping carts because they are the same size as the Loonie.
On all our doors at the Manoir, the Social Club gave us a baggie of Easter eggs...
And I made good use of the doggy bag of food from the evening before. The little buns were especially soft and delicious.
Playoff hockey began yesterday, so we should not be overly bored for quite a while.
