Monday morning, my new large cooking pot was delivered by WalMart a day early, no notice, just showed up at the door yet again. I am not complaining, because I hate wasting a day waiting on deliveries.

A lady friend from the Commercial said she was looking to buy a used SUV so I did a little advance wortk on the internet to determine which had the best records and what was available. 2 good friends have Toyota Rav4's and they are top of the list.

Tuesday, Louise from upstairs asked me to order some Jacqueline Susann books online for her so we sat down and spent all the money she had in her hand...

Then both my printers were acting up, so I ran to Staples and got a new toner cartridge for the laser and a black cartridge for the inkjet... Luckily everything works like they should now.

Then I played cribbage downstairs in a foursome again, and repeated that Thursday night.

Wednesday, I picked up Bob and went to get moving boxes and managed to score 4. I then headed for the car wash but the lineup was too long, so we continued to A+W for a hearty Big Canadian Breakfast.

Thursday morning, even though I had not slept long, I felt the urge to complete my necessary renewal CPP/OAS/GIS forms along with my supporting income tax information. Then I had copies printed downstairs on their colour 14" laser machine. These will be delivered to Canada Place Service Canada office on Monday, rather than trust Canada Post and pay ridiculous postage.

And, Save-On Foods had a $20 off coupon if I spent over $75, so I picked up my veggies and fruits and salad fixings.

Then, I was determined to fix the loose rocker panel covers on the Regal. I had hoped that wall anchors would do the job, but no, I was forced to drill 2 holes and secure the rocker covers with zip ties. Hopefully they will last a while.

And I was finally able to put in my order direct with Nikon Canada for the brand new Nikon P1100 with the monster zoom, especially since I have already received the peripheral equipment I had ordered, extra charger and batteries and filters, remote, etc... The camera is still on backorder.

Friday, again after just a short sleep, I had the gumption to clean up the Gio and then the Regal (inside) and vacuumed up the front floor area and cleaned the windows. It is always heartwarming to get things cleaned up and looking good.

And I chopped up my 2 heads of green and red cabbage for my bi-daily salads. Gotta try and stay healthy you know...

And, I finally got a good bite on selling Brutus, the heavy Nikon D850 and trimmings and lenses. I gave in a touch on the price, so the guy came by, took a quick look, paid in cash and was off, happy as a clam. I also was happy to get some money out of something that I was not using at all for over a year....

Today, with the money from the sale of Brutus, I took Bob to Gateway Motorsports and paid for a new smaller scooter that will fit in his apartment(s). He is so lonely and bored where he is, that he needs a way to get out and enjoy the sunshine and avoid paying cab fare for simple, close trips.... He will pay me back over the next couple of months with the money he will have saved in rental payments and cab fares. It neede charging, etc, so they will deliver it to him Monday.

Now I am going to relax and watch curling and hockey and finish this book... I need to finish the last of 2 Ken Follett books from the Library in time to go pick up the second last Lee Child (Jack Reacher) book on Monday.
