I ended up watching 2 old movie favourites last night, Maverick and Bandidas. Some movies never get old...
Today, I got up late, did chores, and rested most of the day, avoiding food because I was invited for an Easter Saturday get-together at my cousin, Jeanne's. Friend Meng was there as usual and another new friend of Jeanne's named Sunny so we had some lively conversation, and even touched on politics, without any problems luckily.
I brought the wine, ate too much chicken and salads, and still had to make room to stuff down 2 chocolate desserts Meng brought. I should not have to eat for 3 days now, especially since I got a big doggy bag of buns and salads to take home...
I had brought a couple of old photo albums which Jeanne enjoyed browsing very much. She likes old photos as much as me.
And having the company of little Suki always warms my heart as I miss my puppies in Colombia.
