Friday morning the scammers website was down and I had a glimmer of hope that the authorities had caused it, but they were back up in the evening, the same as before.

We got an increase in our pensions that will help a bit, but I am sure Mr Trump will cost us all more money with his ridiculousness.

The problem is that the money went into the old account which I had left open just for this eventuality even though they have the details for the new account for 2 weeks. And the same is for my insurance withdrawal. Hopefully they will be all on the same page next month.

So, Saturday, we had a note about snow clearing in the parking lot from 1-3pm. My neighbouring parker knocked on my door at noon to inform me that they were already starting. Grrrrr I parked on the front street and came back to get changed.

I went again to the bank and moved money to the new account and paid my Aventura card off, minus the $139.00 they want for an annual fee... I had called CIBC because my Aventura card had not arrived in 3-5 business days as promised and they said it was sent by snail mail, to the branch, so I informed them that I will refuse that card and they can cancel it. I was upset because all the promised benefits, like using airport lounges, were BS and I was refused in 2 airports, one being Toronto Pearson at the Air Canada lounge. I was not a happy camper.... I have 2 other unused credit cards with no annual fee, so I will get by with those.

And I wandered over to the Chatr office to downgrade my plan to the $25 plan because the $30 plan had no advantages. The guy was really good because I was worried that their website would have me paying for 2 plans...

I stopped at Bob's new apartment and kept him company for an hour. The wind really blows cold air into his apartment so something needs to be done by management. Bob gave me some coupon's for Harvey's so I went over and had a special Angus Burger meal. Yummy.

I came home and watched our Oilers lose in overtime to our old favourite team since 1959, the Detroit Red Wings... I still have the photo of Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe above my desk here. Love their jersey the best....

And I finished another Lee Child book in the Jack Reacher series while watching the hockey.

Today, I was hoping to meet with the son, Donald, of my buddy Ken out in the Gibbons nursing home, but he never did call. I will probably go on the 21st when I have to go help Don to Fort Saskatchewan anyway.

I worked on photos almost all day and Don stopped by with bags full of the Jack Reacher series.... I had just put 4 of those books, in order, on hold at the Library. I have to put the stack in order so I can see if I can cancel the holds at the Library.

We are having a very frigid weekend with bad winds so it is hard to heat up the bedroom. I am doing my best...
