Saturday June 1, 2024

It is normally windy and cool lately so the outings have been few and far in between.  The days are boring and the nights are occupied with hockey and a good book.

Thursday I had booked to go on a (French) Club 50+ trip to the museum in Stony Plain but the organizers cancelled it because of high winds and the threat of rain.  I assume it will be re-scheduled sometime soon.

I made a huge casserole which will give me at least 8 meals on Wednesday and I slipped out for just a few groceries on Friday.

The Oilers need to win one game against Dallas Stars to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals, so we hope they can manage that on home ice tomorrow.

Today Bob and I decided to ride to Whyte Avenue again and we had a late dinner at A+W.  And we saw some different sights in our travels.

I keep thinking of getting away on a trip somewhere but keep putting it off for the summer.  Maybe September I will travel within Canada and in december go to Ecuador and in January to Colombia...  That seems to be what is sticking in my old brain...

I have just been in contact with old friends and my oldest brother, and I need to keep up these connections...

Today Microsoft has managed to cut off my Office 2016 program so I am very angry at them and am trying to find a way to get a good form of the program back.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
