Tuesda Wednesday February 16-17, 2016

Monday I retrieved my computer with most of my information transferred, and it definitely runs faster with the exception of downloading a needed Windows Service Pack of almost 1Gb and it is downloading at 30Kbs…. Horrible to have to wait for such ridiculousness. I finally got it done after about 5 tries, then I needed other updates to get one needed program to work.

I successfully installed 17 of 20 program files and had the other 3 completed by Wednesday night. The awful problem of the Windows 7 freezing totally has reared its ugly head again and anything I am working on is completely lost... This is so frustrating.

Tuesday was a rough day mentally as I knew my mother's funeral was occurring 7,000 kms away and I could not be there. My other four brothers were pallbearers along with an uncle and a nephew.

In the afternoon Cristina was entertaining a Colombiana friend from her hometown so I grabbed the camera and headed out on Toxic. It wasn't the optimal day for photography but I needed the outing and I actually went a lot farther than I had anticipated. I also finally checked out the mountaintop southeast of us with the barrio Rayoloma at the summit. I even saw a sight that would be most unusual to us, a farmer with 2 cows casually going up a steep staircase! In the process I have many cityscape shots from various angles, as well as a few of our own barrio. SORRY but Google is again causing me problems in the captioning of the last few photos.....

Wednesday I spent mostly replenishing my supply of photos for uploading for sale. I will soon be showing some of the Pase Del Nino photos from this past Christmas and more photos from early last year. For the most part, I am almost a year behind in showing off my work.
