Joe and Joseph served one of their best Barbeque meals ever tonight, starting with those delicious onion rings!!! What started off as a pretty soggy night just got better as the evening progressed and we actually got to enjoy being out in the Garden.

Again we met a lot of new folks who are just checking out Cuenca as a retirement destination.

I apologize that I have been involved in minor meetings most of this week and the camera hasn't left the bag.

Today I set up the tripod for a couple of hours and managed a couple of shots of Tom Thumb that are worth showing.... It is always tricky to get any kind of focus on an object that is constantly moving. And the shot is so tight that it is impossible to get the whole body in the same focus.

Today our friends from Toronto, Michael & Susan, had a social gathering at their place and many familiar faces showed up. It had started to spit a little as I was leaving home and it was a full deluge by the time I reached downtown. The water in the streets was incredible in places and the rain continued for two hours.

I then made my way to Joe's Secret Garden for their Coq Au Vin meal tonight and there were certainly a lot of new folks in attendance although the crowd was relatively small. Met another Canadian couple from downtown Toronto too.

We had kinda planned to go dancing afterwards but all our prior planning was for naught, so my buddies and I decided to forego it for this weekend.
