Today our friends from Toronto, Michael & Susan, had a social gathering at their place and many familiar faces showed up. It had started to spit a little as I was leaving home and it was a full deluge by the time I reached downtown. The water in the streets was incredible in places and the rain continued for two hours.
I then made my way to Joe's Secret Garden for their Coq Au Vin meal tonight and there were certainly a lot of new folks in attendance although the crowd was relatively small. Met another Canadian couple from downtown Toronto too.
We had kinda planned to go dancing afterwards but all our prior planning was for naught, so my buddies and I decided to forego it for this weekend.
