So, Thursday I had done the blitz to the Library and roamed the Taste Of Edmonton booths. We need to take advantage of the sunshine and warm weather, hitting the 30's Celsius.
Then I broke down and went for my Thursday fish'n'chips at The Common... Salad will have to wait, again..
It threatened to storm so I prepared the P1100 for lightning shots that did not materialize....
Today, I did a small grocery run for salad supplies and drink mix and the bill was $72 !!! Sheesh!!!
Then, I jumped on the LRT because I had Free Admission tickets to Klondike Days (K-Days). I took the wrong route, was blocked out of the grounds and had to backtrack a long ways before going into the exhibit building. I took the opportunity to sit and rest my legs several times...
In previous years, doing the same at the Calgary Stampede, I would admire art, carvings, artisans, and neat gadgets, That is where I got my Lifetime coffee filter, slice'n'dice Mandolin, and kits to print inkjet onto canvas, amongst many other things!!!
I hate to say it, but unless you were 10 years old or less, K-Days is BORING!!!!
The only decent thing I saw today was a 1/2 hour stage show by Jubilations Dinner Theatre (Golden Girls) on the CKUA stage outside. I even took a couple of movies for you to show how good they were... The girl in the blue dress had an amazing voice!!!
Oh, I did see a rough takedown of a chubby female thief by 4 City Police, and she was giving them all they could handle!!
I just got a free ticket to the football game tonight, Elks (read Eskimos) against BC Lions.... Go Esks...
