Saturday November 8, 2025

Today was set up by a post on Facebook by a cousin, originally from the Tangent/Falher area, Lynne Bourassa, daughter of Denis Bourassa and Annette Sylvestre, (Denis is the son of Uncle Joe, on Dad's side)...

I spread the word, and bought tickets for myself.  My cousin Jeanne (Mom's side) had me buy tickets for her and her friend Meng too.

I made sure to eat something before going as the evening began only at 7pm.  So we all arrived this evening for a fun night of snacks, drinks, silent auction, 50-50, and music... in French...   Besides cousin Lynne, I knew at least 4 people in the choir from my dealings with the French organizations FAFA and Club 50+, and many more in the crowd.

There were music and songs from different performers and musicians, and the Chantamis Chorale came last for surprisingly only 3 songs, one of which was in an African dialect.  Short but sweet.  The evening was a fundraiser for the group to go on a European tour and the silent auction was busy.  I came home with 3 items after bidding on several.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
