Yesterday, I made use of two bonuses I received from purchasing Oiler 50/50 Raffle tickets. I was able to go to Boston Pizza and pick up two large Meateor pizzas and I only had to add $20. I invited several people for pizza supper but everyone had excuses... So I filled my face, then froze 16 pieces for later munching.
I sure watched a ton of sports, from Formula 1, to football, to soccer, to baseball.... Then I watched one of my favourite John Wayne movies "The Quiet Man" with the beautiful Maureen O'Hara. I love all the movies with those two together.
Last night I went out front again to sit on the swings and chatted with some neighbours for a while. Then we had a visit again by 2 wild rabbits and I managed to get a couple of shots of the closest one. It hardly reacted to the flash.
Happy 28th Anniversary to my daughter and her hubby.
Today, I washed some floors using some soap strips that I had bought on Temu... I found that they are basically dried soap, just like the laundry soap I had purchased, that react to getting wet... I will use them properly next time.
Then I went down to the laundry room, which was not being used by anyone (and that is a first!) to use the big table to clean off the fluff on one of my Turi blankets. I intend to give the blanket to the sweet 94-year-old lady on the first floor, Marica, who is still recovering from a fall.
Next, I jumped on the Gio and went exploring a little to take advantage of the 25C day in beautiful sunshine.
I am still awaiting several Vince Flynn books from the Library, so I will temporarily switch to a few Ken Follett books that I have here, courtesy of my friend Don.
