Ever since I heard about the High Level Bridge Streetcar I've always wanted to ride it and take some pics from that high vantage point (157 feet above the North Saskatchewan! Sorry about some glass reflection.
I spotted it at the stop 2 blocks from my residence and then came back for the 3:10pm trip. This year they are running Friday to Monday.
The conductor, Bruce, said that they are really busy on the weekends so I was glad that I went today.
What was cool to me is that the streetcar came from Melbourne, Australia, where it had originally gone into service in 1947!
The ride was quite smooth although we could hear the clickety-clack of the rails.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
