Yesterday, the smoke left us around noon finally...
I ordered 5 fancy t-shirts for each of 2 residents here, then did a little shopping myself, ordering a cargo vest and a windbreaker.
Somehow, going to bed between 1 and 2am, and getting up between 11 and 12 doesn't seem right, maybe because I feel that I have missed 7 hours of sunshine and usefulness.... But then, who gives a sh*t except me..??!!
When I finished chores, etc, showered, etc, I grabbed the Nikon and one of the books to swap with another at the Library. The new DeMille book is a monster, over 700 pages...
While I was inside, security saw a red-haired woman and a guy in a black shirt take my water bottle and my Fonzie from my Gio... The secrity guy pointed out where they went but I could not catch up to them. Stuff like that kinda breaks your faith in humanity a little, but... if a homeless person somehow gets some solace from it, it was worth losing.
A nice sunny day today, 21C, so it was great to be out because the forecast is for rainy weather the next 3 days. We can use the rain so I don't complain, and it was good impetus to get off my backside and get out.
I got home around 4pm and heated up one of my frozen donairs because I was super hungry. I'll have some salad later as I read while the playoff hockey is going on...
