We finally got out of the house about 11am to taxi our way to the Amaru Zoo, owned by family members of my buddy Oswaldo.
We were fortunate today to see many things that we did not see on our last trip there, such as the Andean Bears, Pumas, huge Andean Condor and the baby Lions.
We managed to get out of there without getting rained on, with threatening clouds beginning to move in. However, even with the forecast for 90% chance of rain, including thundershowers and 12mm expected, we didn't see a drop today... and the drought continues.....
I hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day's excitement, Cheers, Al
