Sunday October 4, 2015
We had our buddy Oswaldo over for lunch (almuerzo) and then he drove us all to Giron for an outing.  Even though the weather was drizzly, it was not cold, not even on the mountaintop at the Portete war monument.
From there we went to the waterfalls (chorros) of Giron and were pleased to see that the drought conditions somehow have not affected the amount of water spewing over the precipice.  There was a breeze and heavy spray so that made it difficult to get photos very close to the falls.  Cristina does not like getting her hair wet so she had her hood tightly wrapped to her face.
We then made a small visit to the Military Museum which actually seems to have less interesting stuff to view each time I visit, don't know why.  Today the room with the horse equestrian display was gone.
Then we made a quick tour of the lovely church before heading back.  Oswaldo wanted to show off his home so he took us there for pastries and coffee.
All in all, a very lovely day, thanks to the thoughtfulness of our good friend.
I hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al
