Yesterday was a busy day! First, Louise from upstairs came down to order some t-shirts and a hoodie. She liked my Hallowe'en sign with cats on my door so she wanted a copy,.. then bears, then Robert Plant with a dove,... so I printed them for her (the Canon printer actually worked well) and laminated them all. And I actually got paid for my work!
Then I ordered a bunch of stickers of some of my work off of RedBubble, which was surprisingly cheaper, and with more options, than Pixels... I am hoping to put most, if not all on the Gio.
At 5pm I met with Adel, the secretary in the office downstairs, for a photo shoot. We went with her pregnant niece and her twins, and Adel's daughter, to the Legislature to take some pictures. With a bleak day, no sun, featureless grey sky, etc, the only real positive was the absence of strong shadow....
The idea was first to get photos of the pregnant niece, then to get decent shots of Adel to use for advertising for her French radio show. Yes, she is multi-talented.. This encompassed many wardrobe and wig changes...
I obviously had a lot of work to do to combat the original, kinda dreary, photos and blah fall colours. The Topaz AI really came to the rescue first, and then PhotoShop, and I worked till 1am...
Don had popped by with War Wontons for me to sample later... Another meal I don't have to cook..., works for me!!
This morning, I had Adel come up to find a way to complete her ad to put on social media, while trying to maintain her specific logo. After several tries, we finally got it done before noon. I am going to post a sampling of our work....
Then I am going back for a long nap....
I hope you enjoy the pictures. That was the day’s excitement.
