Well, yesterday I was awoken by a fire alarm in the building which forced me outside without the benefit of my exercises... So I jumped in the car and went to Memory Express to check out the computer monitor they had mentioned.
I had done prior research after talking to them previously, so I was pretty much guaranteed that I was going to buy their $400 offering if the specs matched my new fancy computer. 20 minutes later it was on the way home with me.
It has a special hookup that I had not seen before and the results tickle me pink! NOW I feel that I have full control for working with my photos! The increase in colour and clarity is amazing.
So I spent most of the afternoon working on photos for upload and I am so very thrilled with the results...
Before supper I chopped up my cabbage to get back into my salad regimen. Love my salads!
Today, I am still super happy with my new set-up. I am half-heartedly looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse, but realistically, my wired versions are working exceedingly well for what I need... I just discovered that my mouse actually works better without the cheap mousepad from the Dollar store....
The secretary for the building wants me to take some photos of herself and also a pregnant niece, maybe next Monday... This will be my third time doing this type of thing for her. My only payment is a hug and some free photocopying and good relations in the office...
Our Blue Jays seem determined to blow the race for first place, losing to Boston, who is now in front. Grrrrrr
