Sunday July 20, 2014
Today there was some kind of multi-country festival like last year,
featuring Ecuador, Peru, Chile
and Colombia,
with food and entertainment. For some
reason Venezuela
was not part of the celebration this year so I never saw my buddy Jesus.
There were many booths of food but frankly the food is generally
not something North Americans enjoy, much too bland and tasteless, very little
meat and lots of rice.
The dance groups were fun to watch and I knew most of the gringos
wandering around Parque Paraiso.
I met Ed, my buddy from Montreal,
there but we left after a couple of hours and came back here to watch a couple
of movies.
NOTE that you may click on any photo for an ENLARGED VIEW.
Hope you enjoy the photos. That was the day's excitement, Cheers, Al
