Okay, you can book the date July 5th, a Saturday, for the first annual Hearts Of Gold Foundation Barn Dance & Barbeque. The Caballo Campana complex on the way to Banos has been booked and we are excited about this magnificent huge location which is apparently used by President Correa himself.
The proposed event will be a family affair, with horseback riding, playground, face-painting, magician, etc. The menu will be a typical North American barbecue with burgers, hotdogs, ribs and more. Music will be continuous and hopefully live music will get you gyrating on the dance floor. The evening will include fireworks to celebrate the July 1 Canada Day and July 4 Independence Day.
We completed the booking this morning and are thrilled with the generosity of the owners. Now we can attend to all the small details so everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest, including the hardworking volunteers.
