Happy April Fool's Day.  I am so glad that they don't seem to "celebrate" that here.
It was a gorgeous day so I decided to catch the bus up the San Sebastian and go see what this Bienal Art Show is all about.  There are several venues holding parts of this show all over the city and the reviews I was getting were not favourable.  I started at the Modern Art Museum and the reviews were accurate.  We know art is in the eye of the beholder, if you can figure out what the mad artist is trying to portray.  I took a few shots of the better stuff for you and spared you the nonsensical garbage.   One of the shots is of a video being shown on a white wall of a bulimic singer who forces herself to vomit, then sing...  Yup, that is definitely my idea of art....
Then I continued all the way down Bolivar, checking the shops all the way to Huayna Capac and San Blas, getting a few shots of the churches on the way.  I found a nice leather jacket under construction that I may return to see.
Once home I got a call that my new glasses were ready but I will pick them up tomorrow.
Hope you enjoy the photos.  That was the day's excitement,   Cheers, Al
