Gee, spring is sure an elusive season around Alberta.... Tuesday was not a bad day, but today, even at 14C, the wind and damp is bloody cold!!
I had to go out today on the Gio and I should have worn long-johns again because my legs got cold quickly... and I should have put a hoodie under my jacket to protect my neck and ears... Sheesh.
Starting tomorrow we are supposed to get back to the 20'sC and we greatly look forward to that...
I waited until the last minute to trade books at the Library and got rewarded with the 2 I was waiting for... One book really surprised me, in that it is a tiny paperback compared to the rest of this James Patterson "Private" series.
Then, despite the weather, because I was halfway there basically, I continued on to Commonwealth Stadium to get my new LAPP (Leisure Access Pass) card for the city's Recreation Centers.... They are not very clear in their literature in the Approval letter, and my existing card had already been updated, so I didn't need to make the trip! But I did get the rubber wristband needed whenever I do sign in.
Now that I have a list of the activities, etc, I might even try using the pass this year.
The crow was back on the chimney of the neighbouring building again so I grabbed a couple more shots. All the pics are with the P1100.
