I got a call late last night informing me that my oldest brother, Fernand (Fern) had passed away mercifully.
He was 87 years old and deeply touched the lives of his family, his siblings, and everyone who met him, with his empathy and kindness and strength.
He will be sorely missed as the stable sounding board that he always was to us younger ones. Rest In Peace dearest Brother.
