Last night, we went and visited a bit with Gilma, Cristina's ex-mother-in-law. She is such a sweetheart that we were there for over 2 hours... It was fun watching her great-grandson's girlfriend doing hopscotch on the street..
We tried this morning to see if the small pigeon we have been protecting would indeed be able to fly away on his own because has little trouble flying in the cage. He went about 10 feet, then waited for Cristina to scoop him up again.
Cristina went into Tulua to pick up her new moped registration card. She then ran into her half-sisters in La Herradura Mall and stayed to chat until after 8pm.
I had spent the afternoon checking out a story Wolf twigged me to, that Prime Minister Mark Carney had stood up to the bully Donald Trump and had sent a stern ultimatum with stern conditions for maintaining trade and relations. I was fascinated and spent the afternoon listening to talking heads (supposedly even Warren Buffett) about scenarios and consequences.... I was so proud that Carney was standing up to the buffoon Trump with threats to cut off their oil, electricity, and more, and shut down NORAD.
Trump was supposed to have also taken over a Canadian pipeline illegally and the stories were complex and fascinating...
Canada was forging new and separate alliances with Mexico, Europe, England, Australia, South Korea and Japan, turning everything away from dependence on the nasty USA...... Oh, it sounded so-o-o-o good...
But the AI influence in the stories bothered me and I checked the major news outlets to sadly find that it was complete bullsh*t......... Nobody was carrying any such story.... Drat...!!!!!
This is a warning about how AI can be manipulated to influence lives and events... Scary..............
