Today I was up early again to run with Victor to a Notary to get his Spanish translations notarized and then we headed to the west end DMV to try to apply for an Ecuadorian driver's licence. I had to get some photos taken, make some copies, etc and then we got in line.
We were then sent to the head of the local DMV who spoke some English and he sadly informed us that they have changed some rules and they now require our Driver's Abstract to be apostiled instead of notarized, so that was a waste of $52.50... I am checking with the Canadian consulate in Guayaquil if they can handle this for me if Victor goes there with my documents the next time he has a pick-up there. Ecuador, where everything is possible, but nothing is for sure... lol.
I have worked on a few more Pase Del Nino photos today for you.
