A March 1 Happy 87th Birthday to my oldest brother.  Hang in there Bro!

Yesterday I had to catch the women' soccer match between Canada and Colombia.  Colombia has a young phenom named Linda Caicedo who alone is worth the price of admission!  Apparently Canada had not scored a single goal since the summer so the 4-1 dominating win was most welcome.

Then the Brier, the Blue Jays, the Raptors, and the NHL kept the TV busy.  I slipped out to get the balance of Quetiapine 25mg we use to sleep, to last me several months.  It is available over the counter here for much less than in Canada where we need a presciption..

Cristina commented all day that that was the first Sunday in ages without rain...  A very dark cloud came from the north at dusk but any associated moisture passed us by.

I got a call from our new German friend Bernd, so we met for burgers and beers at Cafe Mocca again.  Without the rain, it was a very hot 33C day and it did not cool off easily.  Bernd leaves Tuesday back to Boise, Idaho where the pace is catatonic.

Today, still no windows have arrived and Cristina missed the guy at his shop.  I took a few pics outside and watched curling while Cristina made a quick trip into Tulua to pick me up a few things to take home.

A week from now I will be packing up for my return to Edmonton.  Our vet John will pick us up around 1:30am, and I will get to edmonton just before midnight.... a very long travel day...

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  That was the day’s excitement.
