Our handyman was to come at 10am to fix a damaged bathroom light fixture. At 11am I decided to try to fix it myself only to discover that the new receptacle I had bought had wiring too thick to go through the fixture. As I was contemplating what to do next the doorbell rings at 11:30 and the handyman has come to my rescue. While he eventually fixes the problem, he always breaks it twice more to make the work more challenging. Anyway, the bathroom again has light, Thank God.
My next order of business was to go pick up two more newly painted helmets at the bike shop. One was ready and the other couldn't be put back together because they had lost the screws. And my favourite helmet was still there, waiting to be repainted. So I took the 1 helmet home and applied the new decals and I must admit that they look pretty striking.
Because we decided at the last minute yesterday to forego a party tonight, I made arrangements to do my regular gig at Joes' Secret Garden. As usual lately, there were many new people on hand, along with lots of old friends to enjoy my favourite meal of Chicken Fried Steak. That was the most I have eaten in 2 months, and I enjoyed every savoury mouthful....
